Your talents will contribute to our team by:

  1. Assisting the Studio Manager and/or leading Project Team Kick-Off meeting and Collaborative Design Workshops.
  2. Collaborating with design and Lead Architects to understand the programming document.
  3. Performing occasional early phase Revit or CAD modeling.
  4. Effectively executing project Construction Documents per the objectives, requirements, schedule, budget, and resources at the direction of a seasoned Architect.
  5. Creating, developing, and revising Construction Documents using Revit or CAD.
  6. Assembling drawings.
  7. Assisting in the preparation and development of plan sets. Copying detailed plans and drawings.
  8. Incorporating other disciplines designs by adding consultant information to drawings.
  9. Assisting with researching and identifying materials.
  10. Reviewing shop drawings, with guidance.
  11. Reviewing your own work for quality control before sharing with the Lead Architect.
  12. Assisting with the collaboration of General Contractor/Estimator, Quality Control, subcontractors, and suppliers for development of cost effective and constructible solutions for design issues.
  13. Serving as a contact for the field during Construction Administration and learning how to answer Construction Bulletins and Requests for Information, with assistance.
  14. Participating in on-site reviews.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Architectural degree is preferred.
  2. Previous experience with construction and/or construction knowledge is preferred.
  3. 2+ years of experience working in an architectural or design firm in a similar role is required.
  4. Demonstrated oral and written communication skills are required.
  5. Strong mathematical, organizational, creative problem-solving skills, and high attention to detail are required.
  6. Progressing towards Licensure is preferred.
  7. Experience with interior and exterior construction and design of multi-family, mixed-use, and commercial buildings is preferred.
  8. Software proficiency in Revit, Bluebeam, CAD, and/or MS Office Suite is preferred.
