Council OKs plans for N. Edge Trail apartments

The Verona City Council approved a mixed-use project at 1050 N. Edge Trail, featuring a 60-unit apartment complex with commercial space and various amenities.
The look of the eight-story buidling proposed for the corner of East Washington Ave. and South Blair St. The Urban Design Commission granted the project preliminary approval but requested changes to the exterior.
A team of moving companies undertook a complex operation to relocate a four-story apartment on wheels in downtown Madison, a task that ultimately cost over $1 million and took three day. Despite the hurdles, the move gained significant public attention, with a drone video amassing over 10 million views.
Porchlight Inc. and LZ Ventures are partnering to build a new eight-story facility in central Madison, offering 70 studio apartments with private kitchens and bathrooms to better support Madison’s homeless population.
The brick farmhouse sits on a ridge overlooking what is now Madison's Far West Side and is one of the few reminders of this area's agrarian past.
