The Boulevard Apartments are located on University Avenue to further enhance the pedestrian experience in the area. It offers 12,000 sq.ft. of first floor commercial space to create an accessible retail and residential mix at an urban scale. The retail is expressed by local stone with windows shaded by canvas awnings and horizontal canopies. The apartment exterior walls are articulated with those large windows as well as inset balconies. The building’s mass is broken with a distinctive, two-story curved facade at the southeast corner to embrace and welcome people to the gateway of the Village of Shorewood Hills.
The building’s exterior character extends into the building’s interior with natural stone in the lobby and the community room. The community room is located on the third floor, connects to an outdoor rooftop terrace with tasteful finishes.
